The cake may be the main attraction at your little one’s birthday, but no celebration is complete without some birthday party games. Entertainment is important to keep the kids happy, so always have some birthday games in your celebration.

Prize Walk

The prize walk is like the calk walk of carnival games, but instead, they’ll win prizes. Make tiles; write down the numbers on a square and tape them on the floor. Make smaller squares corresponding to the tiles and place them on a bowl or basket.

Now just let the music play, and the kids will walk on the taped tiles. Once the music stops, pick out a square from the bowl. The child standing on the corresponding tile will get to win the prize.

The Bubble Game

This game is perfect even for the younger kids and will leave everyone giggling. All adults can be handed little bottles to blow bubbles from, or you could even get a bubble machine. Have the adults blow the bubbles while the kids rush to pop them as fast as they can.

The kids can later blow these bubbles themselves after going a few rounds with adults. We guarantee the kids will love this game. You can also hand out little prizes to the bubble game-winners.

Balloon Burst with a Twist

The balloon burst is a well-loved game at the county fair. It is also perfect if you kids aged five years or above. The classic balloon burst game is taping a bunch of blown-up balloons to a flat surface and letting the kids use darts for popping them.

How about making it a little more challenging? Write little tasks, put them in the balloons, and the kids will have to do the task they get in the balloon. Since it’s so easy to make, you can do a bunch of the balloons and keep the game going as long as you want.

Treasure or Scavenger Hunt

Nothing gets your brain working and excited than scavenging for treasure. Scavenger hunts can be modified to fit any theme. Give the kids a list of items they can search for around your party venue.

You can send the kids off on their own if you have an indoor party venue. Treasure hunts are a little different; all you need to do is sketch out a map and let kids find the items along the route.

Musical Chairs

A classic birthday party game, musical chairs will be the easiest to handle in this list. You probably already know the drill. Put the chairs out and get some music going. When the music stops, kids sit, and this goes on until one person wins. Give the winning kid a prize!
